How to choose an LED ceiling luminaire?
Select the luminaire according to the mounting method, lighting function and type of interior. The Bergmen range includes recessed, surface-mounted, suspended luminaires, LED ceiling lights and GU10 / MR16 holders for replaceable light sources.
Criterion 1
Mounting method
If the ceiling allows for a cut-out, choose recessed LED luminaires for suspended ceilings. When installation needs to be carried out without altering the ceiling structure, surface-mounted LED luminaires or LED ceiling lights will be a better choice. For illuminating specific zones, suspended LED luminaires are ideal.
Criterion 2
Lighting function
For uniform room illumination, choose LED ceiling luminaires or luminaires with a wider beam angle. For spotlighting, task and decorative lighting, suspended, adjustable or directional luminaires are ideal. If you prefer to select the bulb yourself, choose GU10 / MR16 ceiling lamp holders.
Quick recommendation
For suspended ceilings, choose recessed LED luminaires. For surfaces without mounting holes, surface-mounted luminaires or LED ceiling lights are the ideal choice. Select pendant luminaires for spot lighting, and GU10 / MR16 lampholders for replaceable light sources.
