Bergmen is actively expanding its operations in Central and Eastern European markets and is currently seeking an individual to lead our development in Romania. This is a unique opportunity to build a business almost from the ground up—with significant independence, support from the headquarters in Poland, and the ability to influence market trends. Your role will entail not only sales but also establishing a partner network, creating solutions for local clients, and representing the Bergmen brand as an expert in the lighting industry.
Your responsibilities
Active acquisition of B2B clients and market building in Romania.
Creating and developing a network of partners, distributors, and end customers.
Professional technical advice and customer support in selecting solutions.
Building Bergmen brand awareness through participation in trade fairs and industry events.
Market analysis, identification of sales opportunities, and development planning.
Collaboration with headquarters (marketing, logistics, production) for effective project execution.
Sales reporting and maintaining long-term relationships with clients.
Our expectations
Minimum 2 years of experience in B2B sales (preferred in the electrotechnical, lighting, or related industries).
Very good knowledge of Romanian and English.
Ability to independently plan and organize sales activities.
Experience in conducting negotiations and building business relationships.
Willingness to travel on business.
Driving licence category B.
Advantageous: knowledge of the lighting market or related technical industries. Knowledge of an additional language (e.g. Hungarian, German).
